Positive: Location is not too far from the main street (so you don't have to walk too far into the Medina with all your luggage). Rooms were a great size and very clean. Breakfast was also very plentiful.

Negative: The elevator wasn't working so we had to lift our luggage to the room and it was very hot (35-40 degree weather).

Positive: Mohammed was extremely polite, helpful and flexible. We extended our stay by two nights. Is just inside the Medina with taxis and tour pick up a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast was complete and very satisfying. In-house dinner and spa also available. Inner courtyard was regal great background for internet links to home and work. Overall, it was great value. Highly recommended.

Positive: We are two women travelling together, and we loved Palais Raid Reda! It's a truly beautiful building. Reda and Mohammed were just fantastic giving directions to various sights and a telephone number to call if we got lost! They went over and above what was expected and even posted our postcards home. The Spa is also fabulous - I had my first Hamman bath - an amazing experience.

Positive: I loved how authentically Moroccan Riad Reda feels. I loved the reception when we arrived. No check in desk for us. We were whisked away to a comfortable sitting area where we were served sweet tea and a cookie. "No sugar?" my wife was asked as the host had already taken note that my wife is diabetic without us even mentioning it. We felt like family. Yes the riad was empty of most guests on the day of our arrival so they could certainly give us the extra attention, but the next morning breakfast was served to us on our own special table in a private glassed in room. Mohammad treated us like royalty. I was curious about the pictures on the wall and was given full explanations of who was whom in each picture hung on the walls around us. The hotel lobby is spectacular. The rooms themselves are more modern and perfectly comfortable with plenty of room for sitting. If you want to feel like you are in old Morocco stop in just to see the place. There is an elevator to the rooms but the stairwell is open and bright. The location is perfect if you want to be in the old medina. It is an experience.

Negative: Well there was a bed side light out that could have been fixed before we left. There was also the method of payment which to be fair I was warned about before I arrived. They don't take a credit card. Seems a little odd in this day and age. That said when I realized that, they did walk with me to the nearest atm which I may have felt uncomfortable with considering the amount of cash I had to take out. But like everything else here service comes first. Just like the assistance on the day of our departure when Mohammed walked with us to our taxi awaiting on the closest street to the riad.

Summary: A beautiful riad in the heart of the medina with excellent customer service.
