Summary: Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. As I was staying for work, it would be nice to have breakfast available earlier than 7am, but this certainly wouldnt stop me booking again.

Summary: Rooms were unkempt. Rooms very hot, showers took ages to heat. No housekeeping without requesting 24 hours before, not aware of this on arrival

Summary: A wonderful welcome ( thank you Jane). Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, all staff friendly & helpful. Great breakfast, had dinner in one evening & food was good. Comfortable clean spacious room. Great location, lovely setting & gardens. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a great stay, it looks like the property has been renovated fairly recently, so that was nice to see, as used to it been run down. There weren't enough towels in the bedroom, and one of them was really dirty/stained. All of the staff were lovely and helpful.

Summary: Warm welcome and checking in, excellent evening meal and breakfast. Staff were wonderful. To rate at excellent we would if the bed was better, a poor quality matress topper, hard pillows and we could feel the hard mattress. The room was a hard climb into the eaves. Will book a room on the main floor for next stay there. Buxton is a beatiful place and we only stayed for one night on this occasion.

Summary: Room was very clean, however one of our towels was dirty but staff replaced this immediately. Our room didn’t have a window which was unexpected as nowhere when booking did it say this might be the case, felt quite claustrophobic. Excellent location and lovely hotel overall.
