Positive: Fantastic location - excellent for walking to seal trips, lovely walks to Blakeney, easy for lots of attractions. House was well equipped, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.

Negative: Only one shower was a bit limiting for a family of 4 adults.

Positive: We chose the property based on its location - away from the crowds yet close to the beach

Negative: The lack of cleanliness and the faulty door lock to the juliet balcony which meant we could not open the door. The door lock was fixed on day 3 of our 6 night stay but the house was never cleaned despite having outlined all areas on the first night. OUr list of complaints included: a greasy oven tray, dirty tea cups, dirty water glass in the bathroom, rubbish left under the radiator in the bathroom, dust and hair around the power cable to the lamp on the nightstand, short black hairs on one of the bedsheets plus the floor was definitely neither swept nor washed before our arrival. The only shower in the property was small and its water pressure very low - washing longer hair would have taken ages. If 6 or even 4 people need to use the shower, it would not be ideal to say the least. Frankly, we were surprised that a property as pictured on booking.com was in such a condition. There was no attempt to rectify the raised issues during our stay. We ended up asking for a refund which was given. Sadly, we can neither recommend this property nor would we stay again. Pity, really!

Positive: Beautiful character property in perfect location for exploring the Norfolk coastline. Accommodation is spacious, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and the welcome pack of goodies was a lovely touch.

Positive: Great place, very well equipped with good quality kit. Comfy beds. Quiet location. Loved the balcony. Loved the books and recipe books. Teapot too 😊

Negative: Tiny things! Double sets of plates and bowls was great. Double water glasses would be good and would have loved some pint glasses. Enough loo roll for our entire stay would have been a nice touch. A bin for recycling would have been great. Pepper grinder was empty! Packaging small amounts of tea/coffee/sugar in plastic pouches seemed unnecessary. Paper packaging or reusable glass would have been better 😊

Positive: Spacious, quiet, near Morston and the Norfolk coast path. Parking available for 3 cars.

Negative: I thought that with 2 bathrooms there were 2 showers, but only a bath , loo and sink in the larger bathroom , and a shower, loo and sink in the other. For 6 adults this took some organising. We all thought that a shower over the bath would be a viable improvement.

Summary: Great place, location, characterful, comfortable, quiet, suited our party of older people !
