Positive: We had the BEST time here. The hotel is gorgeous, our room was perfect with a stunning view and the coziest, sweetest little fireplace and seating area that we didn't expect. It felt like we were in a Hallmark movie! The staff is so kind and attentive, this truly felt like a home away from home and was the perfect respite for a celebration weekend. Also, the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in, hoping to hear back soon about what kind of sheets and duvet they use. We can't wait to go back!

Summary: Perfect, quaint, home away from home. Highly reccommend.

Positive: Old world charm. Friendly staff. Beautiful views (not from our room which was specified as a view room).

Negative: Thin walls. Heard neighbor above us coughing frequently. Bathroom small. Space heater knocked out power to one wall twice. Staff responded but it was a hassle because there were few outlets to charge devices.

Summary: Fun spot to stay but wouldn’t choose it again.

Positive: Incredible location, so charming and historic, and staff very friendly. She walked us to our room where there was mood music playing, cold lemon water, and a cookie in our room. Nice touches! Decor lovely, beautiful common spaces (indoor and outdoor) that make you want to stay and relax on a nice warm day. Café had great breakfast burrito.

Negative: We were there in October. Thankfully we checked in early so we could turn on the room's space heater before dinner as it took several hours for the room to warm up. We would love to have used the common space but it was freezing (fire in fireplace would have been very nice). The doors to all the lovely porches have no weatherstripping so cold air just blows through them. We left feeling like a great experience was lost over the discomfort of being cold and wanting to return in the summer when we could enjoy it!

Positive: Fun historic property with a killer view. We stayed in Room 6 (highly recommend) with a beautiful view across the water and of the ferry as it arrived/departed. Appreciated the comfy bed, super deep awesome bathtub and how easy going they were about our dog as a guest. Would absolutely stay here again.

Negative: While it didn't bother us in the least I would probably suggest a white noise machine or earplugs if you are a very light sleeper. The ferry lanes are behind the property and a bit of the loudspeaker noise drifts down and if you have neighbors in the room above you will likely hear them walking.

Positive: The Orcas Hotel was conveniently located across the street from the ferry. We had a beautiful view from the third floor and loved the cookies and lemon water that were waiting for us upon arrival. I loved the character of the hotel and enjoyed sitting and relaxing with a cup of coffee each morning.

Negative: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Summary: We felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s beautiful home.

Positive: Everything was great. Very charming throughout. Great breakfast sandwich. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. I will stay here again in a heartbeat!

Negative: It was a little noisy later than it was supposed to be but the positives greatly outweigh the noise.

Positive: Super cool hotel! Room was beautiful! Love the gentleman that made our coffee in the hotel cafe, what an asset.

Negative: Since it was warm the windows were open to let the breeze in, however the hotel is right next to the ferry and there was announcements most of the night. If the windows were shut I think this would not be as much of a concern.

Summary: Beautiful historical location to enjoy Oracas island.
