Positive: Loved the location and check in was a breeze; you just walk to your room. If you can, book dinner at the Kingfish restaurant below. We arrived by bike and there aren't any stores nearby; if you do travel by bike, pick up what you need at the market at the Orcas island ferry terminal.

Negative: We did have questions and texted their contact/text/cell # but we never heard back. It all worked out but when you stay here, don't expect a front desk or concierge. It's Orcas and they're all about you figuring it out.

Summary: Great location made better by the in-house restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation!!

Positive: Breakfast? I loved that everything was prepared without the need for a check in desk. The restaurant was amazing…wonderful staff and excellent food. Anna and her brother outdid themselves with the entree and dessert of buttermilk panne cotta with rhubarb and black pepper granola! I thought the views and bed were great. I liked my room, the pine #2 room, the best of all the upstairs rooms. I have booked three nights in late September in #4 with the deck access. Orcas Island was beautiful and peaceful. Can’t wait to return and continue my exploration of your island. The building is so cool! Also I thought the two of you decorated the rooms and hallways so nicely. Understated but interesting. The couch and overstuffed chair were was comfy to curl up on for my reading time. Congratulations on creating a fabulous retreat!

Negative: The lighting was a bit wonky next to the bed and the sink had issues with drainage.

Summary: Didn’t stay long enough😁. Loved Kingfish Restaurant, Matia, Lone Pine Larder and Danville Bookstore

Positive: Kingfish is a very cute and quaint hotel. The view was amazing. The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: We had trouble opening the windows and then closing them again, causing one of the windows to remain slightly open the entire stay. The room was very nice, but oddly situated in that you couldn’t sit on the couch and watch the television. Also, the bathroom was a little dingy; needs a new coat of paint and brighter lightbulbs.

Positive: Westsound is a quiet, peaceful place. The room has a great view of the water.

Negative: Off season, there is no place to eat without a 15 min drive. Not even any stores.

Positive: They only open the kitchen for dinner and only Wed -Sunday. The chef was ill during our visit and did not serve dinners.

Negative: Not much to improve. The staff was really friendly and we were treated like family.

Summary: Great place to stay and get the flavor of the island.
