Positive: Had sea view triple room. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast good with both buffet and cooked. Friendly welcome. Parking was good on the front, though with rough weather decided to park up street a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: Nothing negative.

Positive: I wanted a quiet room that was comfortable, I booked a delux for the comfort. The room was at the back of hotel so was perfect, quiet and dark at night. Windows can be opened = fresh air, and heating was good. Bed very comfy.

Negative: Not sure about the fire escapes - unable to fully check them as you need to break glass to open door. Very difficult to open first door as carpet fights the door and the door has a tiny knob (not handle) to pull. This would be very difficult if you are not very strong in the hand or the knob was hot to touch. I ‘preopened’ this first door with a tool and left it ajar for quick access if required (next to room 12 if anyone wants to address this) No lifts as expected - 40 to 50 steps to my floor. OK if you’re able and fit. (But I knew this and need the exercise)

Summary: Good value for money, pleasant staff, good communication, Breakfast satisfactory.

Positive: Very, clean and well run Hotel with friendly staff who were very obliging.

Negative: Nothing really, I had a room at the rear of the hotel, so there were no views but it was very clean, comfortable and had all the things that I needed for my stay.

Positive: Was away from centre. Can't fault the staff that were on duty. Friendly & helpful.Wondeful breakfast selections from continental to cooked. From front door through to dining area was always exceptionally clean. Plenty wardrobe space & drawers in room. Cleaner in everyday to refresh and replenish drinks tray. Free wi-fi. Handy for bus stop.

Negative: Tried book sea view, unfortunately couldn't, only 4 rooms have it. Shower room 3 was in need of refresh,/regrout (?) Room little dark,not a nice view,but can't fault the rest being clean.

Summary: Birthday break....
