Positive: Despite being opposite a 24 hour vehicle recovery building, we never heard any disturbance. There was a lovely village green adjacent/behind the house. There were 2 toilets & basins but there are stairs to navigate. We appreciated the cleaning materials, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc and a few more cloths would be welcomed. Loved having a washer/dryer, hair dryer and toiletries. There were plenty drawers and storage.

Negative: There were no microwave plate covers, nor casserole dishes for reheating. A smaller grill pan would be welcomed so it would be easier to clean. I think instructions for the shower and boiling tap would be useful. Spare towels would be welcomed too.

Summary: Welch House was comfortable, well positioned and worth a re-visit.
