Positive: Good comfy bed, shower was powerful

Negative: Arrived and was told that another couple added Arrived with the same surname, and that they wasn't sure if we was entitled to the breakfast ( it was included in my price) Their was a strange scratching noise in our room that would come and go and also what seemed to be like a generator sound.

Positive: Easy central location. Parking was available outside complex. Good choice of takeaways nearby. Good range for breakfast. Not a 5* hotel, however was clean, comfortable and good value.

Negative: No drinking glasses in room. No fridge.

Positive: Super convenient location, loads of places to eat & drink within walking distance. Free onsite parking & plenty of it. Really big room and bathroom. Excellent value for money. Very clean.

Negative: The room was really clean but the carpet was quite old & tired which gave the first impression of the room being unclean. Carpet needs replacing or a really good shampoo. Quality of the cooked breakfast items were a bit basic but not unpleasant.

Positive: The staff were friendly, even with the improvements they were doing they still took care of us.

Negative: The place could do with better attention to the cleaning of the reception/stairs/ corridors. The rooms were comfortable but lacked the cleanliness in areas (lots of dust on top of wardrobe, bed surround and mirror)..

Negative: The fact the venue did not have the manners to reply to my request for a ground floor, drinks were rather expensive and lager needed the pipes cleaning tasted like sewer waste.

Positive: Lovely spot just off the centre of town so amazing if you like to sightsee or jog food from the restaurant was phenomenal, very nice to have after being out all day as well as the hotel includes a gym for all its guests. Overall this is a brilliant little hotel and I can't wait to book again.
