Summary: The apartment is quiet, spacious and clean. It's in a safe location very close to several transit stops and a short 15 minute walk to the old port. There is also a dishwasher and a small washing machine. It is a charming property; I had a delightful stay.

Summary: The apartment was very comfortable and as described in the listing. The neighborhood is very nice and close to almost everything. The highlight of my stay was the host Paule who communicated with me frequently to see how I was enjoying my stay & if I needed anything. All around a great experience and I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Summary: Nice quirky little apt in a old type traditional apt block, a short walk from the Vieux Port. Large lounge and bedroom, compact well fitted out kitchen, shower room and separate WC. Only adverse comment was that the toilet is wrongly oriented in the small compartment and it is very difficult for anyone other than a very small person to use.

Summary: Perfect location for Marseilles Port area. All the sights were within walking distances. We felt safe where we were. Easy access for general shopping. So nice to have groceries, butchers shop, and coffee nearby.

Summary: The property is conveniently close to Vieux Port. The building doesn't have an elevator but the owner is generously helped with luggage handling. The apartment doesn't have air conditioner, but it was OK to stay during the hot July days, it was enough fresh air flow with provided fans. It has a spacious leaving room. I wouldn't rely on street parking though, it's hard to get an empty spot. Another thing to mention, the separate toilet room is tiny, I wouldn't recommend it for a big people.

Summary: The apartment was beautiful and made us feel as though we were living like a local. Paule and her daughter were warm and welcoming and more than willing to help with any questions we had. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and there was a grocery store conveniently located right down the street. The location of the apartment itself was great for the old port only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in Marseille

Summary: This nice little suite two flights up from Rue des Lices was great for a romantic getaway. We stayed only two nights in Marseille but the location of this little corner of paradise would have lasted far longer without going stale. It's just a few minutes' walk down the hill past Le Four des Navettes (don't forget to stop !) to the bay, the bus, the bistros ... It would have been nice to have a fan in the apartment to keep the air moving ; it was nice to have the windows open at night, but the nights we were there we heard rather energetic music from down the street at late hours. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine. This was a great jumping-off point for our short excursion to Marseille and I'm sure it would again serve us well the next time we stay, hopefully for a longer duration ! The manager is very accommodating and easy to work with, and gave us many good pointers on places to see and things to do.

Summary: This was a wonderful apartment for exploring the beautiful city of Marseille. As soon as we arrived, the owner graciously met my brother and I and took us to the flat. She sat down with us for half an hour and answered all of our questions about public trans. and tourist spots; she was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The apartment itself was perfect for what we wanted. The beds were very comfortable; it was well furnished and modern; the kitchen was very supplied and easy to cook in; and the dishwasher and washing machine helped out a lot! It is about a 3 minute walk to the bus stops and a well stocked market and outstanding bakery was only a two minute walk away. Overall a great apartment!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Paule's place. Though it was New Year's Eve she didn't mind meeting us at her place late in the night and welcomed us with a big smile. The apartment has a great location in St. Victor. There are yummy bakeries close by and the hike up to Notre Dame de la Garde isn't that hard... It is also a great location to have a walk or run along the Corniche or go down to Vieux Port. If you do not like to walk the way up, you can take several buses that stop close by. The apartment offers everything you need for a comfy stay! It has good heating, which was important to us due to our stay in December/January. Paule is a sweet person and very easy to get along with! Thanks so much for everything. We would definitely go back to this place!
