Summary: First, the window blinds were straight up from 1980. They still had cords!!! Which I am pretty sure is illegal. I put the cord through a few of the slats when I raised them each day, and one cord dropped down, and our dog nearly choked to death on it. In addition to that, the bedrooms had vertical slat blinds. All bedrooms were missing slats. Lots of slats were piled on the floors in the bedroom closets. The two front bedrooms on the middle level were missing multiple slats so when you lay in your bed your face is completely exposed to whoever is standing on the front porch. The decks are very old with nails popping up everywhere. One spot on the front deck felt soft when you step on it. There was a smell of sewage every time we flushed the toilet in the master. My sister stayed in the bedroom (middle level) underneath the master and she closed her door. When she opened it the entire bedroom smelled like something was rotton. I reported all these things to Brindley Beach (the company that manages it) and never heard back from anyone. How disappointing. Needless to say we left 1 day early because of the issues.

Summary: We booked this house for our big family vacation and were very disappointed. The house is beautiful however, it needed a deep cleaning inside and out as well as some basic maintenance work done. The house was very obviously dirty when we arrived even though it was "cleaned" before we arrived. All the windows were filthy. The porches & porch furniture were covered in dirt & obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The pool was just as dirty, and I'm not talking leaves on top. It needed to be vacuumed out. There was dirt and sand all over the bottom of the pool. The pool table was uneven, and the cue ball was missing. Four of the beds on the bottom floor had bugs in them, NOT bedbugs but dead bugs that were between the sheets and comforter. There were dead bugs all over the window seals & floors. One of the doors knobs was broken. It was not a pleasant stay at all!! When you pay over $8,000 for a weeks stay somewhere, you expect it to be nice, clean, and well maintained with everything working, and this place wasn't that. We were all very disappointed.

Summary: The backyard was a life saver forthe dogs. Porch railings need attention a few are loose on the third level. Dishwasher doesn't clean well. More kitchen towels needed only one avaliable. Pool table doesn't stay level to be able to play. Additional trash can would be nice.
