Summary: The house is an older property and could use some overall maintenance. The living area was fine and spacious. The front area with pool was nice but overall yard area needed upkeep. The property management was outstanding , responding quickly to texts and questions. The homes in that area are somewhat remote. The roads into Tamarindo are extremely rough and dusty. Petty crime is a problem in the area so locking up was always on your mind and also setting the house alarm. The beach area in front of the house is outstanding with shallow water for the kids and good surfing further out. It was a great vacation and everyone had a good time. You have to remember you are in a third world country and can’t expect everything you have in more populated and newer resort areas.

Summary: We really enjoyed Casa Maria, the location and view is phenomenal. The kids really enjoyed the tide pools in front of the house and boogie boarding. We would all gather at the beach each day for the sunset show. Great place to stay, close to restaurants and other beaches. Will look forward to staying there again.

Summary: We had a time of our life at this home! Best part was the easy access to the beach right in front of the house, we played in the tide pools, beach, and ocean all day and if we weren’t on the beach we were playing in the pool with incredible views of the ocean. The house is beautiful with a great deck for sunsets, kitchen is equipped with everything! The bedrooms were spacious with luxury sheets and bedding all with walk out access to the upstairs deck! I can’t wait to book this place again and hope to make it a yearly event! Great for families with littles and teens, but also great for adult only getaway!

Summary: The pictures didn't do this house justice. We just stayed right there. Fun surf in front of the house. Wife and daughter had the pool and a sandy beach break to swim in. My son and I surfed Negra and Sandy's. My son caught a good size GT fishing from the beach. We gave it to the gardener. He was stoked. House had all the amenities of home we wanted. WiFi, Espresso machine etc.... Good house manager and cleaning crew. Next time we will stay longer and maybe bring another family with us. Definitely coming back next year.
