Summary: We met up with 2 other couples and spent Memorial Day weekend at Salty sister overlooking Morro Rock. The location is excellent. The place is very clean and well managed. The space is designed so the suites can each be private for each couple or can be opened up to have a communal space.

The space fit everyone with privacy and community space. The beds were extremely comfortable. We did not need anything - I would highly recommend Salty Sister and will stay there again. The location and views were amazing! The management company was responsive, professional and very accomodating.

It was clean, bright and cheery. And it was a perfect location for watching the sea otters daily and in walkable distance to a variety of coffee shops and breakfast destinations. It could not have been a more perfect location. We rented 3 of the units for ourselves and our grown children. It was perfect for gathering together, and also for having our own privacy and space. We would HIGHLY recommend this as a perfect spot no matter the group size.

We appreciate the newness of everything and the proximity to the beach. This is the closest place you can get to the beach since there are no houses on the actual sand in Morro Bay. The view of the rock reminded us each morning where we were and was a beautiful sight. We used the kitchen for all of our meals, 5 meals total, and found that the location of the sink, fridge, and dishwasher caused many traffic jams for all the cooks in the kitchen. Other than the minor traffic jams, everything was perfect. It’s an easy walk to the shops for a nice stroll. Keep in mind that the shops close between 5-6.

The suites are well furnished , with all amenities. The kitchen cutlery were all methodically, arranged with name tags to identify. The management has taken great effort to think of all little details. The bathroom were clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The location is great. Just wish we had a longer stay to explore the area more.
