Positive: My shared bathroom room #6 was clean and comfortable. There was also a kitchen - not indicated in the 'pre-purchase blurb'. Had I known, it might have saved me 'surfacing' from Macquarie Uni Metro to search a very busy supermarket for my dinner, and then descending underground again for one stop, Macquarie Park, re-surfacing and confused as to the best way to walk to my accommodation! (NSW Transport instructions indicated it would be a 22min walk!)

Negative: Initial difficulty at finding my room as it was around the back and up some stairs and I saw no one to ask. As I'm elderly and arrived via the Metro I found it exceedingly difficult to find the Guest House .. suggest Initial instructions give directions for those not arriving by car!

Summary: I booked late, arrived 6pm, and left at 6.15am and saw nobody.

Positive: I booked on behalf of my elderly parents, they said check in was easy, and everything was lovely

Negative: The only thing they commented on was no kettle on the room, communal kitchen only

Positive: Great place, very comfortable room. Quiet environment, 30 min walk to Macquarie Uni. Perfect first landing accomodation for exchange students. Very accomodating and helpful staff, they provided me a fridge in the room for my heat sensitive medication. Biscuits and tea in the kitchen, feels cozy and welcoming.

Negative: As a Swede it was a bit tricky to understand how to lock the rooms as they had round and turning doorknobs, although it might be obvious to Australian guests.

Summary: Great stay, lovely place!
