Positive: The room was nice. On the AD it said shampoo, body wash provided, which was not also no hand soap in the bathroom. We showed up an hour after check in, I was told to call the number or knock on the suite that owner lives in, I did both, with no response for either. So we were outside in the cold for about an hour before he finally came to let us into our room. They advertise escape room and game room, which we asked if it was available after we finally got to our room, which it was not. The kitchen water did not work which we didn't know about beforehand, when other people checked in 3 hours later the owner left water on the bench and told them about it, we heard from our room (the owner did not provide us with water we just got it on our own)

Positive: The staff was very helpful and nice to chat with. Our room was very spacious and clean. If you want to visit the UNESCO protected Viking site, it is in few minutes driving distance

Positive: It was a unique experience staying in an old school. The price couldn’t was a great bonus. Paul was a great host. He suggested we go to Skipper Hot’s for the Friday night music and dancing and it was the most enjoyable out our Newfoundland experiences.
