Positive: The cabins are in a beautuful spot and the kitchens are fully eqipped and coffee is provided. It was easy to turn up the heat. The two rooms are nicely furnished. The vikings are worth it.
Negative: There is no prepared food for at least 15 miles. The town of Raleigh shuts down for the winter around oct 1. It is about 30 miles to the viking exhibits as there is no road across the peninsula. We did have very good food in st anthony and the other side of the penisuls.
Summary: Don't miss the Vikings!

Positive: Located in the small fishing village of Raleigh and right on the cove, these cabins are very comfortable, very clean, well supplied, and very attractive. The beds are very comfortable. The cabin comes with everything you need for a stay including pots, pans, and utensils. I'd highly recommend staying here.
Negative: The town lacks restaurants and the small store across the street, where the host was supposed to be, was closed. The host was conspicuously absent. (Don't let this deter you. The host left the key on the (open) cabin dinner table.)

Positive: Beautiful, serene location. The kitchen is stocked to prepare meals. Ceiling fans available on all rooms- very helpful on summertime. Convenient store in front of the property.
Negative: We did not have the cabin with a water view as shown on the website. The inconvenience of boiling the water. No restaurant around town.
