Positive: The location was perfect, an easy walk into Durham . The property was lovely, very comfortable and cosy. A lovely touch to leave lots of basic provisions on arrival.

Negative: A bit too cluttered with albeit lovely things, but not necessary. Too much crockery all surfaces busy etc for a 1 bed, 2 people max property

Positive: The cottage is small but perfect, in a great location near to shops and the UK''s best fish and chip restaurant! the cottage is very well planned out, lovely attention to detail and the kitchen was fully stocked with plates etc. parking at the back is a bonus, and even though a little tight its fine for most cars. the neighbours were lovely and friendly. take time to go to the garden centre near by, and visit the coffee shop. the food is lovely and the bakery shop sells everything at 1/2 price from 3pm onwards

Negative: the windows in the sitting room are high and i found them hard to reach, maybe have a set of steps to access them safely.
