Negative: For the price, kind of shabby. Carpet by elevator frayed. Bathroom door would not fully close. Curtains difficult to operate (sticky track). Cheap toilet paper. After five nights the lavatory faucet began to leak, so had to change rooms the next day. New room not ready when promised

Negative: Prob with showers constant dripping for hours after use difficult to turn off we brought it to the attention of staff but was not really fixed difficult to sleep as a result

Positive: Beautiful entryway and nice rooms. I liked the blue carpet and the ceiling. The bed was also very comfortable. The room was not big, but the shower was how and strong.

Positive: The hotel is very central to explore New York. The entrance is beautiful and the rooms are bright and have nice marble bathrooms and the beds that were comfortable. The lobby staff are really friendly and helpful.

Negative: The Hotel is shabby. The head board in our bedroom was flaking and the shower controls were broken. The general feeling was that the place needs some money spent on it, as the cost of the bedrooms was not representative to what we received. The reception staff could also do with a bit of training in welcoming their guests. We appreciate it is a boring job but you don’t need to be met with a eye rolling bored representative of the hotel when you have just arrived and you are paying an exorbitant price for their rooms.

Positive: Perfect location Great views in the room Hotel staff was nice and welcoming

Negative: Small room with little bathroom space No AC in the bathroom so humidity spread out in the room after showering Recurring noise from neighbours across the corridor, and the hotel didn’t pay attention Be careful with the bank card you are using for deposit. As Europeans, we only have debit cards and the deposit was charged and only credited back to my account 25 days after check-out
