Positive: The property was lovely and located in a traditional building in the village; full of character. Our room was large, charming and the period furniture and decorations created a great atmosphere. We loved the huge window that opened up to give views of the garden, river and countryside beyond. Our only regret was not having time to spend in the garden and explore the area more fully. On arrival, after a long drive, we were warmly greeted with a refreshing afternoon tea. The breakfast was excellent - all very fresh ingredients and served with real style.

Positive: Everything was exceptional. Our room , breakfast, location and our hosts, Elise and Richard went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay really special . Can't wait to return !

Positive: We felt totally pampered and so welcome in Elise and Richard’s stunning home. Two nights were far too short so we will definitely be back. The village is beautiful and we enjoyed a super meal sat on the terrace of the local restaurant. Delicious breakfasts (my French husband said that the croissants were the best that he has had). The beautiful collections of art and quirky antiques have been brought together by the couple to complement an interior which is fit for any French Home Magazine.

Negative: Having to leave after just two nights!

Positive: Location in a small village perfect. Breakfast, everything you could want. The house is amazing. The hosts have spent many years collecting lovely period furniture and making a real home. They are really outgoing and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This is probably (no definitely) the best place we have stayed. Genius L3.
