Positive: Such a beautiful and interesting place to stay. The room was very large and decorated with some fantastic artwork. Our hosts were lovely and did everything to ensure we had a great stay, which we certainly did. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you so much x

Positive: Great value and a wonderful experience. Clean Spacious rooms, in an old historic building full of art antiques and interesting interior designer touches. The owners obviously have a passion for their space. Free breakfast was a simple bonus I had not counted on. Value here is worth the price!

Positive: This property was outstanding…we knew we would be staying in a medieval Manor House, but it felt more like a castle! The owners had spared no expense in decorating and refurbishing the place and there was every attention to detail! So very creative. And from the moment we arrived they helped us to take our luggage off the motorbike and carried it upstairs for us. Then they very kindly let us park our bike in their own garage. Lou-Ann and Christophe were very friendly. We loved strolling around Confolens, it’s a beautiful town, and we had a lovely meal at a restaurant that Lou-Ann told us about. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at this incredible Manor House.

Summary: A delight to find this amazing accommodation in the heart of the beautiful French countryside.

Positive: Everything was fantastic. The room decor was wonderfully eclectic, so if you are looking for beige walls go somewhere else. The rooms are in a 15th century building, very spacious and comfortable. If you are staying on an evening where they are offering a table d'hotes do accept. The hosts fixed a fabulous dinner with good conversation for all. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Positive: A perfect gem right in the middle of the ancient town. Lou-Anne and Christophe couldn't have been nicer hosts. Totally charming.

Negative: There was no large mirror in the room. But that is a very minor issue.
