Welcome to Shale Beach, a brand new home (2020) that has all the features you want. One step from the large parking area to the home and only a few steps from the large front porch to a wide flat natural shale beach.
The home features 9' ceilings, cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace, and a Weber outdoor gas grill on a spacious covered front porch. At night, warm up on your private beach with a blazing fire in the fire pit or simply relax on the porch in front of the outdoor wall heaters!
Oversize windows provide plenty of natural light and amazing lake views. The gourmet kitchen is well stocked and features oven, range with hood, dishwasher, microwave, coffee makers, two full size refrigerator/freezers plus a wine refrigerator. High-speed internet with a mesh extender system.
Four large bedrooms, including two master suites, plus a second-floor rec room with additional beds, provides plenty of elbow space for everyone to enjoy. Sleeps up to 20 guests, including three king beds and one queen bed, each with a high quality mattress.
A dock is provided during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) for guests to use for fishing, boating or lounging. We currently have two kids kayaks, an adult tandem kayak, an adult stand-up paddle board, a canoe and a pedal boat. (Dock and boats may not be available during off-peak months.)
New for 2022: New hot tub! New full bathroom for a total of 6 bathrooms. New patio and fire pit. And new 50 amp outlet next to the driveway in case you have an EV car.

Summary: This was our first trip to Keuka in the fall and it did not disappoint. The house was wonderful and gave us plenty of space. All of the bedrooms face the lake and there are enough bathrooms for everyone. The porch was wonderful and the paddleboat and hot tub were new to us and really added a fun element to the trip. Proximity to Hammondsport was super convenient. If you have a big group and you want everyone to be comfortable and not on top of each other, this is the place for you. Owner communication was top-notch.

Summary: The instant you walk in the front door you’ll see the expansive view of beautiful Keuka Lake through the large back windows. You’ll want to eat every meal at long table and get up each morning to watch the sunrise from the comfy sectional - both on the expansive back porch. Every evening we gazed at the millions of stars visible while sitting around the fire pit or in the jaccuzzi. Simply stunning views from every room and the back porch. Truly a great Finger lakes experience!

Summary: This is the perfect lakeside location! Water was terrific. There is a nice shallow area that was perfect for little kids. The house was equipped with kayaks, a pedal boat, and life jackets, that were all so much fun for big kids and grown ups. Inside was spotless and well equipped. A million bathrooms and tons of space for everyone. We would like to stay again!

Summary: Kids in the water ALL the time. Wear water shoes; Zebra mussels will cut your feet without them. WIFI is good. Very quiet. Plenty of hot water. SUNSCREEN! Didn't notice mosquitoes. We had 11 in the house, plenty of room. Good place for families.

Summary: Beautiful house situated right on the water. There were a lot of water toys available so we didn't have to deal with any side rentals of equipment. And the AC worked well during the fluke heat wave!
