Positive: We were given fresh coconut water and a complimentary massage on arrival. Staff were very helpful and nice. Our bungalow had access to a private beach. Loved the local dogs

Positive: The food and service here are outstanding! Our bure was very comfortable for my husband and myself and our two young adult twins. One of our twins has special needs and the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, and made sure he was happy and comfortable at all times. The village tour, snorkel and cave trips, bbq night and kava ceremony were all great experiences. We stayed at two resorts on two different islands during our 2-week trip. Both were great, but different. This one had more of a honeymooners feel to it, even though our family really enjoyed it. I understand it's an adults-only resort, at least the majority of the year. Our family really appreciated the privacy of our bure, located at the far end of the resort. We had a "private" beach and spent our late afternoons after a busy day of paddling, snorkeling, diving and walking the beach hanging out on our spacious deck or in the hammock. There was always plenty to do - or not do - every day of our stay. We arrived via helicopter, which had spectacular views. We departed on the catamaran. Both modes were very enjoyable.

Negative: We are divers, and had to have kind of spendy boat transportation to and from the nearby Blue Lagoon to reach the dive shop. The boat ride is beautiful, as is the Blue Lagoon. If we were avid divers who wanted to dive every day of our trip, this could have been a bigger deal.

Positive: Food was amazing, and lots of options for such a remote island. Rooms were big and spacious and resort was quiet and private. lots of relaxing! Staff were lovely and helpful

Negative: Activities that were advertised were not quite as we expected. There were only two activities set each day, with one tending to be a more relaxed quieter option. They did allow us to book in a different activity when one of the activities didn't suit. Activities were quite expensive. Rooms were advertised as being right on the beach - however the beach has washed away and a wall has been erected to protect the rooms. Can still view the beach, but wasn't a nice beach to swim in off the rooms.
