Positive: Excellent Nature location very close to beautiful Kudle beach, clean and well maintained rooms, good wifi, friendly manager and security. When we complained about restaurant being closed, no yoga and no staff after 19hr; he opened the restaurant for us for a complimentary breakfast the next morning and stayed around until we returned from diner that night. We appreciated that a lot! In high season with restaurant and pool open and daily yoga classes, this must be a very different ecperience as you can read from the reviews.

Negative: Due to low season we were the only guests, so no pool, no yoga and the restaurant was closed. Also the reception was unmanned post 19hr, so we felt little unsafe walking home after diner at night through the poorly lit nature paths (mum with two daughters). The owner was in Germany, but the manager contacted him and responded very well to our complaints. Despite that and low season prices ( 6k / night for 2 bedroom cottage), I was expecting more for this rate.

Summary: Nice resort set in nature location, in low season many facilities closed and too quiet for us.

Positive: The property grounds are simply stunning and you immediately feel a sense of ease and peace when entering. I was only supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended to 5 (and still could have stayed longer!). The breakfast is the best I had during my entire one month stay in India, with the friendliest / patient staff. The yoga was beautiful too. There is a beautiful energy in this place and there was such an effort made on Christmas Day (a lovely spread and a Christmas meditation) which was wonderful especially for a solo traveller like me. I even stayed in the treehouse one night which as a unique experience and Oliver was very flexible with various requests before and during my stay which was much appreciated.

Negative: The communal shower/toilet was not clean and it did feel quite scary climbing up and down the treehouse but these comments are only relevant for the treehouse which I stayed in for one night. The room stays I have no dislike comments!

Summary: The best place to stay in Gokarna. Wonderful energy in a peaceful environment with delicious food!

Free yoga 🧘‍♂️ classes twice a day and table tennis 🏓 included in room rate. Thanks for the great stay, will definitely come back next time I’m in Gokarna!

Positive: The rooms are set in a beautiful garden, there are hammocks and common areas and lovely water features. The room is a bit small but there is a verandah out front and plenty of places in the garden to relax.

Negative: The breakfast was delicious but overpriced. I had equally delicious breakfasts at other restaurants much cheaper.

Summary: A really lovely place to stay.
