Positive: The apartment was historical and also modern inside. The centrally located apartment was in the inner part of Rothenburg. Jonas was an amazing host helping me choose restaurants, gave me info on parking and was reachable before and during my stay. The apartment a nicely stocked kitchen. The 2 beds were very comfortable. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood.

Negative: There were no curtains on the top floor bedroom and the stairs to the top floor had a low ceiling in one spot. As long as you paid attention, it was not a problem.

Positive: The place is hands down the most special place I've ever slept in. HANDS DOWN! The experience of living in a medieval home is unbeatable. There's an extremely affordable public parking lot right behind the fortress wall (5 minutes walk) and it's 1.3€ per hour or 6€ per day (weekdays 9-18). The host told us we could park right in front for a few minutes to unload the luggage, but it was no problem walking from the parking lot with everything. The kitchen is fully equipped, so we could have breakfasts at home, quick and cheap (there's a Kaufland close to the old center, but on the other side of it). The hallway was super cold (this is not a down side, you'd never spend time there, as the whole place is upstairs), but the rest of the apartment was warm and cozy, including the room in the attic! This is just to say that the heating is working great there.

Negative: Please bear in mind that this was a 10/10 place for us, but these aspects might be useful for some people: * The whole apartment is upstairs so you'll have to climb stairs up and down every time you come and go. * The toilet and the bathroom are two separate rooms, so you have to go from one to the other in order to wash hands. * There is only one of each. * The stairs to the second bedroom in the attic are EXTREMELY tight and steep! Again, the apartment is super nice, clean, cozy, well equipped and beautifully decorated.

Positive: The house is built on the wall, and it's the most authentic place one can live in. Fully renovated, but the part of the wall kept as is, so you feel like you touch the history. Lovely kitchen, close to the old part (you are practically in it) and to the parking. Easy self check in. Host is helpful and super nice. Everything was perfect.

Negative: Just note that the house is 3 floors, so not for people who has a problem with stairs (knees, disables etc.). Shower could use a door instead of a curtain.

Positive: Jonas's house was wonderful, it had great facilities, was really comfortable and quiet and in a fantastic position within walking distance of everything. Some of the windows had screens which was a great bonus as it was quite warm and as I am a magnet for mosquitoes I could leave those windows open and have a good night's sleep without worrying about being bitten!!! The house itself is so amazing set into the town wall with quirky rooms and an amazing staircase. It was like living in your own fairytale!!! I know some people didn't like the fact that there were some low ceilings but as someone who is just under 6ft tall I had no problem. Would definitely return, can only recommend it highly. Jonas himself was great with communication too and we followed his tips eating at Alte Keller and the Taj Mahal, both were excellent. Thank you Jknas for sharing your house with us!
