Summary: We were greeted with a warm welcome by the host/owner of this very old hotel. He was kind and helpful getting us set in our rooms offering a prosecco after our long drive. The hotel is quite old and has had some modest updates. It was comfortable enough but not a high rated quality in spite of the hotels.com rating that I used to book it. Sheets and towels were worn and torn. Very modest amenities. Cleanliness was questionable. In America it would have rated about a 2+ star hotel. It was sufficient enough for one night but very over priced for the value of the room/stay and experience.

Summary: The staff man the keeps everything nice for the guests was very helpful and took care of all our needs. Great hotel and this is our second time here. When we return again we will look forward to staying here.

Summary: We were very pleased with our stay - the Hotel was very rustic and in a great location. They arranged a private transfer for us from Nuremberg and again back to airport which was wonderful. We used the sauna which has great facilities and is kept private for individual use.

Summary: From the second we arrived you could tell that the owner of this hotel loves what he does. He offered us complimentary drinks, carried out cases to the room and parked our car. The minibar and coffee in the room was included, as was the delicious a la carte breakfast.
