Situated in a listed building, the apartment, fully renovated and decorated with research in 2015, combines charm and comfort. It is ideally located just next to the Vieux Port (near the church Accoules).
Warning! Please, notice that the building is located on a pedestrian street with stairs. No need to be very athletic to reach the door but it's not feasible for disabled persons.

Summary: We spent a wonderful three nights in the flat. The location was perfect for us as it is only a short walk to the port. The apartment is exactly as described and Helen was very good at communication. We were worried that it was July and there is no air conditioning in the flat, but the fans that Helene provides are very good and we were always very comfortable. We look forward to staying in the flat when we again return to Marseilles.

Summary: We loved the beautiful city of Marseille and our visit was made all the more wonderful by staying in Helene's apartment. It is a fantastic location for traveling on foot or using public transportation. I really enjoyed the unique neighborhood and discovering all the stairways and little shops nearby! The space was clean and comfortable for our family of three (couple with teenager). We were traveling light, so I appreciated the use of the washing machine. Thank you, Helene, for providing a true home away from home.

Summary: Unique property..very close to port. Excellent restaurants near by, very helpful 18 page pdf guide from host. Double bed not the largest but can use sofa bed as well. Lovely bathroom quality of fittings everywhere very good..good value for money.

Summary: Ideal place for a couple in Marseille. Perfect location at Le Panier at the old port: truly historic street, with numerous great shops, sites and streets all nearby. Central yet peaceful, the apartment was well-priced and had everything we needed. All communication was clear and helpful, and hostess Helene was friendly, generous, accomodating and welcoming. Thank you. We wished we had stayed longer, we hope to stay again, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone visiting Marseille.

Summary: The apartment is really well equipped set in the old town and only a few minutes walk to the port with all the bars and restaurants. Helene was so helpful. There was a mix up over our arrival and the fist night we stayed in her own apartment which she offered us for the duration of our stay but so glad we moved to this one. Helene provided very good information on the facilities, recommended eating places and things to do before our arrival. I would definitely return this as a place to stay and would return.
