Summary: This is a great location. One block up from the harbour, where you can hire tour buses and boats. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by, including one right outside the door. This roomy apartment is in an historic building but has been recently renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom. Don't miss taking a tour bus to Notre Dame, amazing, with unbelievable views. Also, definitely worth taking the boat tour to the calanques. Lots going on in the neighbourhood, but surprisingly quiet at night. Anik is easy to get ahold of, if you have any questions.

Summary: "We have just returned from a perfect holiday in Marseille. The apartment is very well equipped and in a prime location close to the Vieux Port.It was really good to be staying in such an historical house that was clearly on one of the Marseille walking tours and which was visited by classes of schoolchildren. There are many bars and restaurants nearby and a fantastic market only 10 mins walk away. The apartment is close to buses and the metro. The arrangements for booking etc with Anik were no problem at all. One minor point, make sure you get a demonstration of how to unlock the door of the apartment - we did have a little trouble with that. In summary, a great apartment in a fantastic location. Thank you Anik - hope to visit again in the future."

Summary: It would be very difficult to find a better place to spend your holiday in Marseille than at this wonderful apartment. This was a great flat for our group of 4 friends while we explored Capital of Culture 2013. The location is in the heart of the Vieux Port, on a nice small quiet square with plenty of eateries within walking distance. All the major sites were a short ride away. The owner, Mrs Anik paid attention to the details so that our stay was very comfortable and hassle-free. This lovely apartment is comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The living room is welcoming, especially after a long day of enjoying the sights of the City.The well equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to start the day with breakfast. You'll love this apartment.

Summary: "We recently stayed at this wonderful apartment with our two year old son. The apartment is light,clean, felt spacious and was well appointed with a warm vintage feel, its just as the photos show. - it had everything we needed. The location on the edge of the Panier suited us - close to access everything but quiet to relax & sleep. The location enabled us to mostly walk, but there are metro and bus stops in close proximity linking with different areas so getting around was easy. There is a choice of 2 bakeries nearby to buy croissants for breakfast and 2 convenient Spar shop nearby. We found Ms Anik very helpful and professional in all our dealings.The apartment had instructions for everything and recommendations and brochures for ideas for the visit. - the restaurant, across the road Au bout du Quai was a nice surprise, good food, reasonably priced excellent wine!. Would absolutely stay again and highly reccomended. "
