Positive: We spent 3 nights at Munroe Nest Homestay with our 3 children. We had chosen Munroe Island and the homestay for its serene atmosphere because it is a bit off the beaten path. It is also a family place with some children so our 11 years old could play with the youngest ones. We took part in many activities offered by the homestay, such as kayaking, canoing, and cycling around the villages to feel the mood of the countryside. Vishnu and his wife are very nice and welcoming. She cooks very delicious meals that are always different. Vishnu accompanied us during our activities. We strongly recommend this place to spend some relaxing time in the backwaters.

Positive: Very peaceful environment, best place to stay in Munroe Island! Vishnu is very kind, organized for us a boat trip and a kayak tour, bikes were available for discovering the island at our own pace and he even drove us to a Hindu festival to a temple nearby. You can have dinner there, simple but very tasty.

Negative: Nothing except maybe the bathroom that wasn't very clean when we arrived

Positive: We had a lovely relaxing stay at Munroe Nest. The accommodation was clean and comfortable in a tranquil and beautiful setting. We were provided with a delicious dinner and breakfast, and thoroughly enjoyed the trip in the host’s boat through the peaceful and pretty backwaters.

Positive: Wonderful stay with lovely family in the middle of beautiful and tranquil village. The hosts are very warm and helpful and people around very friendly. In a walking distance there are a couple of food options and shops. The room was spacious and very clean.
