Positive: We booked 2 rooms, and got acces to the whole upper floor. Family that run the homestay is really friendly and will arrange most things u need, like food, mocktails and boatrides. Water is nearby and the house is close to a village with a couple of small shops aswell. I recommend!

Positive: Vinod is the consummate host offering huge meals, delicious drinks and boat service. In addition he guided me through festival activities, biking and kayaking. The beautifully constructed wooden accommodation has two rooms (AC and fan) with shared lounge and balcony space. I highly recommend Mocktail homestay for a full on island experience.

Negative: Train connections are limited.

Positive: I really enjoyed my stay at Mundro Mocktail Homestay. The island is beautiful and laidback and the homestay was quiet, clean and comfortable. The homestay is located above the family house; it has two rooms and a big living room, as also a small balcony. All the upper area is made in wood. Good wi-fi It’s possible to rent a bicycle which it’s a great way to explore the island. Did the boat trip at sunrise with Vinod and it was amazing. We start in the river, then the lake and did the way back by the small canals. I was the only person in the boat and had a very fair price for the 2h trip. Vinod is a great host, friendly and generous. Nice family environment and tasty local food both for breakfast and dinner… yummy fruit salads!!

Positive: Mundromocktail Tourist Home Managed by the friendly couple, Mr. Vinod and his wife, Mundromocktail Tourist Home is a special place surrounded by nature. The wooden house is clean and inviting, giving a calm break from busy city life. The unique wooden design of the house makes it charming and cozy. It's simple but adds a nice touch, making it a pleasant stay for guests. During my visit, Mrs. Vinod cooked tasty meals using fresh, local ingredients. The food was delicious and added a lot to my experience at the homestay. Mundromocktail Tourist Home also offers a fun canoe ride at Munroe, organized by the hosts. It's a nice way to enjoy the peaceful waters and nature around the property. Mr. Vinod's mocktail shop is a special spot, where he makes refreshing mocktails. What's great is that he uses only natural ingredients, making the drinks tasty and fitting perfectly with the natural surroundings.
