Positive: We loved all cozy house, especially fireplace. Area was so quiet, we could hear animals only. And animals were so cute and all over the farm. Love it

Positive: Comfortable bed. Meets basic requirements. Fine for a 2/3 night stay. Quiet and peaceful. Helpful owner.

Negative: Garden needs sprucing up to make it more pleasant to sit outside. Wasn’t able to open windows so got a bit warm inside in the summer heat. Really hot water coming out of the kitchen tap. Not sure if something can be done about this.

Summary: Pleasant stay for 2 nights. Meets basic needs as a base for visiting different parts of the lakes. Owner was really help

Positive: The location was brilliant. We used it as a base for exploring the coast and Wasdale, in particular walks on Yewbarrow and Pillar.

Negative: I managed to burn myself on the incredibly hot heated towel rail. Other people may be troubled by the aromas of life on a farm but we weren't.

Summary: Fantastic location, very clean and comfortable. A perfect base for exploring Wasdale and the coast.
