Negative: We stayed in late April. The facility is lovely…however, within walking distance, there this: a General Store across the street, and within a stones throw there is a Cookie Bakery and one tiny stand-alone trinket shop. You can traverse the “Village” and browse in both directions within 30 minutes. This area caters to travelers who are wanting to spend time out on the hiking trails during the months without snow, and to travelers who come up for the winter activities when there is snow. If you are an “in between” traveler…hopefully you enjoy playing cards, or being entertained by a good book.

Summary: We stayed for just one night in April and that was sufficient time in this area at this time of year.

Positive: Solid, simple breakfast options with the loveliest patio. It was helpful for us with a toddler that it opened at 7am too. We were always the first people in line.

Negative: Their is no breakfast included. For the price they charge for a room, I expect breakfast. They did have a Beyond Bread in their lobby but it had a severely limited menu and the service was slow and chaotic
