Mountain View Lodge lies on the western edge of the scenic Texas Hill Country, offering spectacular views & sunsets--great for gatherings large or small. The lodge sits high above crystal-clear, spring-fed Pulliam creek (Middle Prong of the Nueces River), which is ideal for swimming, tubing, and snorkeling. A 5-ft-deep swimming hole is at the lodge. Accommodations: Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with king beds. Downstairs there are beds for 8 people (additionally, there are 3 comfortable foam pads, pillows & bedding). Large decks on both levels with 4 private entrances to the house to avoid disturbing others. TELECOMMUTE FROM THE RANCH! Super-fast, fiber-optic internet. Do your Zoom business and school meetings wirelessly. A 55-inch Roku TV is downstairs and a 50-inch Roku TV is upstairs. Summary: My family and I love coming here, the water was great, and we love Mr. Donkey. My only complaint is the rooms with carpet do have a mildew smell on them. Overall the house is exceptionally well supplied, and all instructions are simple and clear. Thank you Kermit, we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Always love staying here. We’ve been here for 5 years in a row and plan to keep coming back. It flooded this time which is crazy to see but also so different than how it normally is when we are down here. Still beautiful though!
