Positive: Excellent room, hospitality food and location. Perfect for a weekend gateway. We never felt outside home. Their hospitality towards their guests attracted me the most. Highly recommended homestay !!

Positive: The owner is a very professional and helpful person. He received me very gracefully and went out of his way to assist me with a major logistical (taxi related) issue at odd hours. I found him to be exceedingly polite and accommodating of the guest's needs as well. The homestay menu is simple and preparation takes a good while but the food is fine - I had egg hakka noodles and a vegetable thali.

Negative: Soundproofing is virtually non-existent and while the homestay is situated next to an interior road and not a main one, the noise of street dogs at night is a major sleep disruptor. Also, the mattresses on my bed were very hard.

Summary: A decent homestay property with a superb owner but ordinary facilities.

Positive: Clean place, nice helpful family, good english. Privacy. Good light so I could read and work. Tasty food. Peaceful. View of the mountains, not far to walk to the train station/taxis.

Negative: Bed was a bit harder than I prefere.

Summary: I had three pleasant nights here and can recommend it.
