Summary: We woke up every morning to enjoy the gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. We picked this cabin because of the stunning views from inside, and not just from a deck, which was harder to find in the area. Very well-equipped kitchen. Tiny quiet neighborhood well off of any main roads. Check the weather forecast for Fontana Dam before you go- the house is not fully winterized, and the furnace could not keep up when temps were sustaining below 35-40F

Summary: The precious yellow cottage & WHITE PICKET FENCE that I've dreamed of ...at the top of a mtn ❤️ I have n e v e r been a person to sit in the dark & wait in front of a picture window for the sun to rise.... until this escape! I actually RELAXED on this trip & my little 9 pound toy poodle LOVED the fact that Mama was 'chilled'. Then, I actually caught HER sitting there staring out the window like she was waiting for the sunrise the next couple days. The cottage was perfect on every way & the view was the icing on top!! The location was far enough away from town that you didn't just run out on a whim. But when you went out, the trip was an experience in itself being on the Moonshiner28. Cell phone signal was non-existent as explained ... but the WI-FI wkd perfectly & when I connected my cell phone to the wifi & did wifi calling... no problems... I had my cell phone at the cottage along w perfect internet!! I can't think of a thing that needed to be changed except I wish I'd booked more than 5 nights ;) Definitely hoping for a return trip!!

Summary: This is one of the most beautiful little cottages. Then it gets blown away every morning by the lifting steam from the mountains as the sun rises. Pictures and reviews will never tell the whole story. This was our second time there and we will be sure to be back. Thank you for this little piece of heaven on earth.
