Positive: Mount Juliet estate was absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so lovely and kind. Especially Bruno who made me the most beautiful cocktails in the Manor House. David in the pro shop was so obliging and kind and really looked after us. The bed in the room was absolutely perfect I had 2 great nights of sleep. The food in the hound was incredible. We both had Beef and it was cooked to perfection. Well worth the money. The breakfast on both mornings was absolutely delicious. The French toast was the best I’ve had. We celebrated my birthday and in our room a little cake and card was left for me and it was so thoughtful and made my day. We will 100% be returning to this beautiful estate.

Negative: The only issue we had was we felt the pool area was quite cold and the pool itself was cold, but we still enjoyed using the area, it was beautiful.

Summary: Absolutely amazing, we will definitely be back soon.

Positive: Outstanding! Attention to detail at every point of our stay. Staff knew our names and remembered them. The staff were exceptional and food was phenomonal. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Toileteries were luxurious, too!

Negative: We couldn’t fault Mount Juliet. We stayed in the Manor House. Beautiful and luxury executed to the highest standard.

Positive: The hotel itself is very nice, and the surroundings are definitely one of the main reasons to visit. There’s a lovely area for breakfast and plenty of dining options nearby - including the Manor House and even a Michelin-starred restaurant. The breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is free, which is great, I can’t imagine getting there any other way.

Negative: The hotel is definitely overpriced: I’d rate it around 7–8 out of 10. The swimming pool is a bit old, and the hotel was very busy during our stay, so we couldn’t make any reservations for the spa or for Lady Helen. Overall, options were quite limited at that time. The food was nice, but again, overpriced considering it really needed more seasoning. Breakfasts, while offering a wide selection, were rather bland. However, the biggest downside was the hotel room. We stayed for just one night, so it didn’t feel worth making a complaint, but if it had been a longer stay, I definitely would have. The room was very noisy; not because of other guests or outside activity, but due to constant sounds coming from the bathroom: the toilet kept making noise, and the fan ran continuously. Overall, the room just felt uncomfortably loud.

Summary: Overall, a bit overpriced with very friendly staff, though you’d expect more given the cost.
