Positive: Twin room was modern, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The breakfast was excellent (choice, quantity, variety). Michael was a great and very friendly host and it felt like a stay with family. Great location in Thomastown and a beautiful old main building.

Positive: Location was ideal for attending a wedding nearby in Mountain View. Room looked to have been recently renovated. View of the river from the room was really nice, and free parking was appreciated.

Negative: We originally booked a triple room but our room only had one bed - I suspect the B&B has been renovated since our booking as this room type is no longer available, but this could have been communicated to people who booked it in case they were depending on separate beds. The bed was a little lumpy and you could feel the springs - a mattress topper would go a long way. Room cleanliness fell a little short - a bunch of dead flies fell out of the blind when we rolled it down, and the toothbrush holder in the bathroom had toothbrush stains in it from previous guests. Neither of the bins in the room had bin bags in them. Part of the reason we booked this location was because of the highly rated breakfast - the menu in one of the photos looks amazing but we weren't given a menu or any choice. We were given yoghurt & granola, then toast, then a mini fry. As a vegetarian I couldn't eat that but didn't want to be rude to the owner who seemed nice. Asking what people want for breakfast would be preferred.
