Positive: The breakfast was mainly goody bars. Very simple. I go out for breakfast anyways . I want a real breakfast, eggs, sausage,home fries.

Negative: The curtains stink awful and carpet. I brought spray. The coffee maker to small.

Negative: Price was to high. We stayed at a resort the night before this stay and that price was Much cheaper. It also had many amenities. The unit had full kitchen and living room with a fireplace. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. Unfortunately this was a small cabin and no amenities which we knew. That's why we feel price was to high. Also cabin had a musky smell. I don't like to leave less than great review sorry 😞

Positive: Lovely old 50's style, well cared for, motel units- colorful and enjoyable. Family owned and run - they could not do enough for us! Working on gradual renovations around the units while maintaining the charm and feel. Room to park at the unit and grassed areas front and back.

Negative: Unfortunately, the air conditioning/heating unit in the room next door had been left on (even though it was vacant)and , because it was very cold overnight, kept kicking in and out which did interrupt our sleep. Otherwise no issues at all.

Summary: Comfortable family owned 50's style motel providing value for money overnight accommodation

Positive: Second time staying. Staff is very nice and attentive. Stayed in a double room and the beds were comfortable! Plenty of outlets, a little fridge and coffee maker in the room and the office had a little breakfast station though we didn't partake.

Positive: Rustic feel to the property. Definitely the best view of Mt Jefferson. Shortest route to the Cog Railway over Jefferson Notch. Dewald and family went out of their way to help when my car broke down and I was unable to retun for my last night. Can't thank them enough. And I'll get the key in the mail next time I go to town.

Negative: Weather. 2 days of sun, 3 days of clouds and rain, but those are the chances you take.
