Positive: Stayed with Jebaan and his lovely family for about 10 days in March 2025. Had such a chill time, perfect place to unwind and just enjoy nature. It’s about 40-45 min away from Pokhara and there are a few options for food around the village. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner cooked by Jeeban’s wife (I’m sorry I don’t know how to spell her name but she was an absolute gem😍)!!

Positive: Mount Fuji Homestay is a lovely, peaceful place to relax after trekking. Jeeban and Neeru and their family are so warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. And they are excellent cooks and make the most delicious dhal baat and breakfast!

Positive: Recently built set of 3 twin en-suite rooms with clean mattresses, quilts, pillows and towels. Great view over Begnas Lake day and night. Hosts very welcoming and happy to help in any way they can. At this time of year lots of interesting birds and beautiful butterflies to be seen. Nice choice of home cooked Nepali dishes for breakfast and evening meal: all very tasty. Handy bar across the road and up the hill a little if you want to sit out with a cold one and have a view of the fields and valley.

Negative: The consequence of the great view is a steepish road to walk down and back to reach the town/waters edge. That said it only takes 10-15 minutes and well worth it for the peace and quiet. Not that easy for a taxi driver to find but a local shopkeeper helped us by phoning our host who met us on the road to show us the way.

Summary: Great view, good food, heartily recommend.
