Positive: Wonderful and kind hosts, delicious food and the surrounding neighborhood was very safe and has aspects of nepali culture that the cities don't have. I enjoyed simply relaxing, talking to Sita and Jeevan as they are very supportive and easygoing people. I also enjoyed learning about yoga and meditation every morning and I am motivated to live a more sustainable lifestyle coming back to my home country. Pokhara is only 30 minutes by car away, but I recommend staying here over Pokhara!

Negative: No complaints.

Summary: Perfect to explore rural Nepal and meeting wonderful Nepali people! 10/10

Positive: It is a home stay in an eco farm. The family is super nice and they know a lot and share their knowledge. The view is wonderful. In a nice walk you can get to the lake. Food was very good. We had a great time

Negative: At noon it was very hot in the room and it was hard to rest inside

Positive: This is such a wonderful place to stay. The family is so kind and welcoming and it is such a gift to enjoy the delicious food they grow and cook with so much love. You can just relax and enjoy the area or help out in the garden and kitchen and learn about Nepali cooking! The area is beautiful and peaceful and the rooms are comfortable and clean, sleep is quiet and cozy. Thank you so much for the stay!

Positive: The Eco Farm is in a great location, with beautiful views of the Annapurna range and the lake, as well as lots of options for daily walks. Govinda and Chetana are so kind, and the food was incredible - better than I have had at any restaurant in Kathmandu/Pokhara! It was fantastic to learn about organic farming and how to cook a perfect momo! The room was clean and tidy - the Eco Farm is the perfect place to unwind after trekking.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Absolutely fantastic stay, would love to come back!

From the moment you arrive, you become a part of Govinda’s family, instantly feeling at home. Location: Nestled peacefully on the hillside above Begnas Lake, the farm is surrounded by family-cultivated fields and offers a breathtaking view of the Annapurna mountains. The serene environment creates an ideal escape. Accommodation: While the rooms are simple and clean, you'll hardly notice, as you'll be fully immersed in farm life. Whether helping with daily tasks or simply marveling at the stunning scenery, there's always something to keep you engaged. Food: The meals, prepared by Chetana, are nothing short of exceptional. She’s a talented cook, and all ingredients are fresh, directly sourced from the farm without processing. This is where I discovered the difference between "hot" and "spicy," and learned to appreciate the latter. Family-Friendly: We stayed with our two children, and Govinda went out of his way to make them feel welcome. He even made a little swing for them upon our arrival. His son, who speaks excellent English, was incredibly friendly, ensuring our daughters were never bored. Final Thoughts: Mountain View Eco Farm was the highlight of our stay in Nepal, and the experience is one we will never forget.

Negative: Literally nothing. But do not be mistaken, this is a farm stay not a big city hotel. Here you live together with the nicest nepalese family. If you value honest work, this is the place for you.
