Positive: The place is great and the hosts most welcoming. We were thinking of going out to other restaurants, but decided to stay there for every meal - breakfast are great and the hosts organized freshly bought bbq seafood every day - delicious! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for relax a bit of the beaten track.

Negative: Everything was perfect, one thing to note - the beach is secluded and there is no shade or amenities (sunbeds) there. The closest beach bar is sometimes not accessible by foot (estuary) and you need to hire a boat to get there when the water level is too high / current too strong.

Positive: What a fabulous stay. Beautiful, clean, modern room, serene places to hang out, proximity to a quiet beach and lagoon. We wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were wonderful, their 3 dogs were very cute. Don't miss the food, it is great and cooked by a chef. They also offer affordable and professional massages and cooking demos.

Positive: I absolutely loved my stay at The Mothership. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. From the terrace you can even watch the monkeys playing in the coconut trees – such a magical experience! The food was the best I’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. Every meal was fresh, full of flavor, and prepared with so much care. Truly outstanding. The service from both the hostess and host was exceptional. They are incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They really make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The location is perfect as well: just a 2-minute walk to a stunning, peaceful beach where you can fully relax. In short, The Mothership is an absolute gem. Beautiful accommodation, amazing people, delicious food, and a wonderful setting. I would happily come back here again!

Positive: The most wonderful and neat place, me and my wife, visited during our trip. Cleanliness and sanitary conditions meet the highest standards. The hotel is newly built, the apartments are very spacious and comfortable. The bed is huge and comfy, the view from your balcony is wild nature. The host Nisha is very caring, responsible and most importantly the most amazing chef, for him is a pleasure and joy to cook delicious and best quality meals. After our first lunch, we ate only here - breakfast, lunch and dinner. One more important thing is security 24 hours a day - Suki, Coco and Oldie. We become friends with those cute dogs from the first day :) Most of the restaurants and hotels we visited before disappointed us, but this place will leave the best memories of Sri Lanka.
