Summary: This is like taking the family to summer camp, with all sorts of activities, plus meals! The detour road is a bit unnerving, but that adds to the experience! (Don't take a low-clearance car in there!)

Summary: Wasn’t sure what we walking into upon arrival… lots of construction going on. BUT! This place exceeded our expectations! I felt like I was back in Girl Scout camp, only with a king bed and my own bathroom. So much to do on property. Fishing, pickle ball, basketball, ping pong, swimming and even canoeing. Places to relax and read were a highlight. If you go hungry here it’s your own fault. Made to order eggs every morning, numerous entrees for dinner. They even take allergies into account. We weren’t there for lunch each day, but they made us sack lunches to take into the parks. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and rustic. Fire in the lodge a bonus on cool nights.

Summary: Montecito is off the main highway, but was worth the short trek in. Meals were provided, B, L & D, with many options including a vegan option. If you weren’t going to make to lunch you can order, the night before, a sack lunch that was very good. The room was simple, bed was ok. The shower could use a little more pressure. Very quiet location.

Summary: This hotel is in a very remote area. It will take close to an hour to get to the Kings Canyon area to see the top spots. Nothing close by. The staff and meals were excellent though. The place is dated and really seems to be like a camp for kids to get away.

Summary: Beautiful surroundings and delicious food! We used the tennis courts and played basketball also. It was a but chilly fir swimming so we didn't use the pool or take a canoe out on the lake. The lakeside room was nicely furnished with comfortable beds.

Summary: Amazing property. Lake on property and pool. The staff were very helpful and a joy to interact with. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were fantastic

Summary: Most of the staff was pleasant and helpful. Food was plentiful and reasonably good. Rooms were too rudimentary for the price. Access to the resort was very challenging.
