Positive: Kooky treehouse jungle fantasy! Maybe not for everyone, but we liked it ! Such friendly hosts at this unique place!

Positive: If you are looking for something unique in a way that you will remember, this is for you. It is 20 minutes from the centre of Phayao and well worth the drive. The elevated cottages are nestled into background forest and foliage in a way that feels like you are embedded in nature. But don't expect a Marriott Hotel. If you would be repulsed by the idea of exchanging 5 star "if its Monday this must be the Bangkok Marriott... if it's Tuesday this must be the Phuket Marriott" luxury for a unique experience, its not for you. But if you are adventurous and young at heart it is ideal!

Negative: A fan in the sitting room would be good, but not essential.

Positive: Really cool place! I needed a spot to work without distractions and this was the perfect for this, quiet and tranquil with very good internet. Horses and dogs are very friendly as well. You can order food from grab if needed, also they do the laundry. Host and his wife are very friendly and good to have a chat with. There are some gravel roads in the forest that you can walk, no traffic at all.

Negative: Few ants here and there, but it is in the middle of the forest so it's rather expected and not a big trouble.

Summary: Quiet place in the forest.

Positive: 1. The owner is very nice. They are very friendly. I was impressed by sitting at the bar at night. The owner wanted to enjoy Songkran in the downtown, so he told us to take care of ourselves by taking any drinks or snacks as we wanted. We were a bit shocked because he was not afraid of his drinks and snacks being stolen by us (guests/customers) hahaha. Then, he went to the downtown and enjoyed Songkran. But we enjoyed the drinks and snacks at the bar with natural atmosphere. 2. The owners made our stay feel like friend visiting friends' house. I had never felt like this with other resorts or hotels in Phayao before. 3. Cats and horses are super cute. Everything, everyone and every animals are so natural, especially, the white kitten with blue eyes. He is so adorable 😍🥰😍🥰. 4. The pizza was served for breakfast together with a delicious rice soup. I think, normally, the pizza wasn't free for breakfast. But the owners gave it to us for free! This impressed me a lot.

Negative: If you can accept the sounds of frogs and cicadas at night when you sleep, that would be great. It means you are surrounded by nature. But it just, sometimes, woke me up in the middle of the night.

Positive: The staff tried to be helpful, but I was quite disappointed with this place. I don't understand why it has good reviews. Perhaps some people like squalor, I don't. Frankly, there is nothing in Phayao worth seeing and I'd suggest spending your time elsewhere.

Negative: What didn't I like? Well, the animal excrement for starters. Dog, cat, horse, chicken, etc. Our "accommodation" was essentially a barn, and not a particularly nice barn. The furniture was uncomfortable, the bed was horrible, animals ate our food while we were out, and the koi pond next to the bedroom was a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The sooner I forget this place, the better.

Summary: If you like squalor, stay here. Otherwise, find someplace else to stay.
