Positive: We stayed at Monkey Fingers by Fatima for two nights after reading many positive reviews. Fatima and her team was welcoming, and the stay overall was okay, but there are a few things future guests might want to be aware of. Overall, it may suit travelers looking for a simple, rustic experience, but those seeking more comfort or easy access might want to keep these points in mind.

Negative: The house is quite old, which adds some character but also means the facilities are fairly basic. Our room did not have air conditioning, and there was no cleaning service during our stay. Access to the house can be a bit challenging, especially at night. The lane leading to the property is very narrow and not well lit, which made it difficult to drive in without concern for the car. Additionally, there were wild dogs near the stream behind the house that were barking and howling throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep.

Positive: Fatima is a very interesting and friendly person. The food was good and the location was superb. When its get dark, you can gaze at stars at the rooftop.

Negative: The water pressure was very low, it was hard to take a shower.

Positive: Fatima was a great host; very friendly and her art is beautiful! Location is literally in front of the Monkey Fingers and dinner was tasty.

Negative: It was really cold in the room (no form of heating), a small bed for two adults and the bathroom was more basic than expected. It was a bit hard to access with 2 large suitcases from the parking.

Summary: Probably better in spring/summer time.

Positive: Very nice place located in the middle of a beautiful village surrounded by a small river that foster the local rich local fauna and beautifully shaped mountains. The guided tour option adds value to the very nice place. Hospitality and quality of the meals made the stay more special. Thank you Fatima.

Positive: We were very stasified with the welcoming tea and the nice staff. The terrace si amazing. Fatima is so kind and her brother took us to a hike tour which was amazing and worth every euro. Must to do it! The dinner was also very delicious.

Negative: The house is not on the best road to get there. But if you are a good driver also no problem for big cars. Breakfast was nothing special.
