Positive: Excellent location in the middle of the Dades Valley, great for hikes. The price was very reasonable, and the simple but comfortable guest house offered everything we needed! Moreover the host was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Negative: Obviously it is not a luxury hotel, but that's also not what I was expecting.

Summary: Amazing value for money, friendly host, perfect for hikes!

Positive: Very warm welcome and stay. The place feels extremely intimate, the hosts are 100% there for anything you may need. Great people and communication altogether. Very clean room, mountain view. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent, cannot recommend this place enough!

Positive: It is a beautiful Auberge with a fabulous view and extremely kind owners and staff. They went out of our way to accommodate our every need. They took our bags from our car to our room, provided us with fabulous meals, (and I am gluten free and my husband is a vegetarian), they speak English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Amazigh... I can't speak highly enough about everyone we met there. We had a great guide Mohar, who took us into the Monkey fingers Mountains on a 3 hour hike where he made sure that we made it safely up and down some hills and didn't take us beyond our capacity. (We are 68 and 77). We changed our plans so we could return to spend another night here on our way back to Marrakesh. Lovely people, lovely accomodations. We were lost on our way there, so I called Dawood, the owner, who sent us a screen shot of the directions. He says his English is not very good but it was good enough to get us where we needed to go and to help us in every concievable way. The hospitality of Morocco has a well deserved reputation that is certainly exemplified here.

Positive: Daud, the owner, was a great host. He made us feel at home. Always ready to help. We had ordered dinner (paid separately) as well, and it was a wonderful traditional home-cooked dinner. Breakfast was included with the room and once again it was a big and delicious spread. Spacious rooms with great unobstructed views of the valley.

Negative: We had 2 rooms booked as we were a family of 4. Both rooms were spacious with multiple beds but one room had AC and the other didn't(which is not what was promised in the resrvation). Before traveling to Moroco, we ensured we booked hotels that had great air-conditioning knowing that the temperatures will be around 90/110F. However, Daud did whatever he could to make our stay comfortable - he provided 2 fans in the room that did not have an AC. Even with the fans and windows open, it was sweating hot at midnight.

Summary: Great host, great location with valley views, delicious food. Great value for the services provided.

Positive: Our family room was very clean and comfortable. In the evening we had the set menu of tagine and fruit salad which was filling and delicious and great value. Breakfast was very plentiful with a variety of jams, pancakes, omlette and bread. The scenery was fabulous and in the afternoon we went for a walk across the road from the hotel and had a paddle in the gorge. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay!
