Positive: The house was situated on the edge of the village, with plenty of parking. We arrived after midnight as our ferry was three hours late due to a mechanical problem. Our host Cathy was most accommodating and stayed up to greet us and show us to our room. At breakfast we were offered a choice of food and went for smoked salmon, poached eggs and avocado, followed by yogurt and fruit. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had in any accommodation. It was a pity we could only stay for one night.

Negative: Everything was perfect as far as we were concerned.

Summary: Great a lovely house and friendly socialable hosts would definitely visit again.

It was within walking distance of my ancestors’ church and Cathy shared local genealogy resources on her website.
