Positive: The accomodation was great, the pool was well kept, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, the staff was great. I had my laundry done while I was there and they ironed everything better than I ever have….lol overall I highly recommend.

Negative: My one critique is that in the bathroom there is no rail and the floor gets slippery after showering. I had a minor fall as I went to get my towel so I’d recommend putting non slip mats in each shower.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyable and we will be back.

Positive: On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the location is very green and relaxing, which we really appreciated. The pool area was also nice and clean, and we enjoyed spending time there.

Negative: However, there are some things that could be improved. The room could have been cleaner – after room service there were still some leftovers from sweeping on the floor, and the sheets didn’t seem to be properly lifted or changed, as sand remained on them the whole time. In our bathroom there was a constant smell of sewer, which was quite unpleasant. The mosquito net also needs upgrading or replacing, as ours had several holes in it. The saddest part of our stay was that there was construction and drilling in the neighboring rooms, and we were not warned about it. Because of the noise, our baby woke up, which was very stressful. With some improvements, this place could be really great, but for now it was a bit disappointing in terms of comfort.

Summary: We stayed at Mollopor Willa in Battambang and overall had a mixed experience.

Positive: The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable but we had to pay for an upgrade to the upper floor as the ground floor ones were dark and faced a building site.

Negative: It would have been nice to be forewarned about the construction work happening.

Summary: Lovely little hotel but not really what we expected.

Positive: The tropical atmosphere and ambience was good - lots of greenery. The restaurant and food were very nice. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a deluxe room upstairs equipped with most amenities.

Negative: The villa was located away from the main part of town making it harder to access. We had a deluxe upstairs room and we had to climb very steep stairs to access it and we felt unsafe. The room needs updating - especially the toilet and shower room. I nearly fell over several times in the shower due to slippery tiles. The water pressure and temperature was very hard to adjust. We had a nice seating area outside on the verandah but due to lack of fans it was very hot and steamy.
