Summary: Stayed for the weekend with 4 couples and had a great time enjoying the beauty of NE Iowa. It was an easy walk to downtown and the house is so spacious that we were very comfortable.

Summary: This house was a perfect location for our recent getaway for 3 adult siblings and our mom. We each had our own bedroom with a king bed, plenty of bathrooms, space to hang out talking in the family room and the dining room to play games. Lovely woodwork and nice accents throughout. We had fun wandering up and down McGregor’s Main Street. Thanks for a great little get away weekend!

Summary: Don’t let the lack of curb appeal of this house mislead you, it is one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The inside is nearly new construction! The beds were amazing comfy cozy and the house had all the necessities! The owner was very quick to respond to a very late booking and thankfully able to accommodate us and take care of us after our original booking with a different VRBO was cancelled. Keep an eye out for wildlife… we saw deer everyday and a turkey flew right over the front porch.

Summary: House was as expected- repeat stay. Very comfortable place to visit with family. Bathrooms could use some updating but functional. Very comfortable beds and gathering spaces. We would stay again!

Summary: This home was way bigger than we anticipated. Enough room so that everyone had a place to hangout and you didn't feel like you were falling all over each other. Owner is super responsive, we had a problem with the coffee pot and they were able to drop another one off that same morning. Great hiking in the area.

Summary: Quaint historic home! On main street short walking distance to shops/restaurants, yet in residential section. Stairs to all bedrooms. Well appointed for all your needs.

Summary: The only place to stay (beside the other Victorian property) owned by the same person to stay in McGregor. Close to the River and downtown eating and unbelievable living area, kitchen, dining area and bedrooms spaces. Literally all kings with bathrooms. Amenities galore including front porch and back firepit area. You could spend weeks here and not run out of things to do
