Summary: We loved our stay. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Moana Lodge is well looked after and bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and lounge are all super clean/tidy ..... feels a bit like home. Our family room looked straight across to the beach/ocean, amazing view. We were lulled to sleep by the faint sound of the waves. Excellent value for money. Cooking was a breeze with gas hobs, lots of good pots, wooden spoons, airfrier and sharp knives - a very organised kitchen with ample space to store your own food. Little cute village just down the road, with train station close by. Hustling Porurua 5 minutes away by car and an easy 25 minute drive into Wellington city. We loved our stay and will only stay here now when we visit Wellington. It is a real gem.

Summary: Great view in the rooms- sleeping and common room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tidy and clean- I enjoyed the beach on the other side of the road and the view on the waterfront- l highly recommend this hostel.

Summary: We only where there for 8 hours but it was nice an warm on a cold night. Nice hot showers and would go back there when we go back to Wellington.
