Positive: My partner and I had such a great stay here! The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming ,we felt comfortable right away. The view is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful pool, ocean views, and a quiet beach just steps away. Our room was cleaned daily, and they even came by again in the late afternoon to freshen it up, which was a really thoughtful touch. The place is affordable and has a nice on-site restaurant, so we didn’t have to go far for good food. Breakfast was fresh and simple juice, fruit, and coffee every morning. We also loved how peaceful the location was. It’s away from the noise, but still just a short walk to The Rock restaurant. They arranged airport pick-up and drop-off for us and offered to organize activities too, which made everything super easy. It was the perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy some quiet time together. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a peaceful getaway!

Negative: Everything was great! Just something to keep in mind none of the rooms have bathroom doors, and the Wi-Fi in the rooms is a bit weak (but works well outside). We were there to relax and disconnect, so it didn’t really bother us.

Positive: Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location right at the beach. You can do a long morning walk along the beach without being disturbed. At low tide you can walk to see the sea stars.

Positive: I've traveled a lot around the world and this is the best place for private, peaceful relaxation I've come across. Staff is super polite, discrete and helpful, the amenities are great (pool, 3 separate places to sit and enjoy their good food), the beach is 10m away. Each bungalow has privacy and there are a lot of chairs and beds for chilling. You'll see some other visitors but you can mingle or not - up to you, no pressure. Then, on Pingwe beach you have a few other nice options to visit - restaurants, bars and of course the famous Rock restaurant is a 10m walk away. And you can take a boat to the Blue Lagoon (10m ride) - a guy at the hotel can hook you up with any activity you're interested in.

Negative: It's you're expecting vibrant social life and party, you won't find it here, this is the place for the opposite of that. Also (not a problem but something to be mindful of) as everywhere in Zanzibar, keep track of the tides change (twice daily) - at low tide there is a 500m-outward to sea stretch of water that disappears, at high tide there's no beach at all in some parts of Pingwe beach.
