Positive: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, surrounded by greenery, offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation is modern, well maintained, and exceptionally clean. Breakfasts were of excellent quality and comparable to those in high-standard hotels. They were generous and varied, including omelets with eggs and avocado, fresh fruit, and very good tea. During my five-night stay, breakfast was different every day. The room was spotlessly clean, reflecting a level of cleanliness normally expected in 5-star hotels. Dinner was also excellent each evening, thoughtfully selected and prepared by the host. Special recognition goes to Mercy and Nur, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness made the stay truly outstanding. Mercy’s care and dedication, together with Nur’s warmth and daily smiles, created a welcoming and comfortable environment. The beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel. I would like to sincerely thank the entire Miska Zanzibar team for making my stay a memorable experience. From the first day, I felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout my visit.

Negative: The bed was firm (hard) P.S. A backup system for Wi-Fi would be beneficial, as it would allow digital nomads to continue working during power outages.

Positive: The accommodation is very modern and clean, run by a family who are very quiet, attentive, and extremely polite. There is a generous breakfast, including fruit and coffee. Although it is not directly on the water, but just around the corner there is a cave with turtles, the Stone Village Restaurant (amazing food), and the Promised Land Lodge (a nice place to hang out with an ocean view) or shanka lodge for nice ice coffee. You get offered lots of tours on the main beach in kizimkazi , (in our eyes dolphin tour is not that ethical but our snorkel trip was good :)) The accommodation is perfect for people who are looking for a quiet, modern place to stay with good service and who want to explore quiet hidden places around.

Negative: If you don’t like too soft matress it’s the perfect place

Positive: Absolutely fantastic stay! Breakfasts were like in a great restaurant – a generous, truly abundant omelet with eggs and avocado, delicious coffee from the machine, and a plate of fresh fruit. We could barely get up from the table! The room was spotlessly clean – a level of cleanliness rarely seen even in 5-star hotels. There was a brief power outage in the evening, but this is a common issue in Zanzibar, so definitely not the owner’s fault. I recommend this place 100%! PS. A small sign by the road would be helpful – it would make it easier to find you :)

Positive: This is a new spot in the heart of the little village in Kizimkazi. It is a small piece of paradise on earth. Our hosts, Mercy and Mourice were great. The food was exceptional and the service perfect. It's the perfect blend of silence and serenity. Plus was they assisted so much to make my stay more memorable with a dolphin tour that simply put was just breathtaking. Will surely come back

Negative: The roads were rough but then again, I guess thats the fun of it however it did look like they were working on having that fixed.
