Positive: This was the absolute best place we have stayed in Madagascar so far. The location was stunning with views overlooking the entire valley. It is super clean. Comfortable. Everything you need is there, from a kitchen to dishwasher soap, fan, Mosquito nets on all windows - they thought of everything. There are plants everywhere and you can tell the owners take great care of their property. It was like a little paradise. Would have loved to stay a lot longer! Jeanot the owner is super helpful and going out of his way to assist in every way possible. Last and certainly not least they now have very strong wifi as well!! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Negative: Matraze really old, no parking for the driver (caused us extra money in range of 15 euro+)

Positive: We really loved this place while we stayed for 2 nights, it has everything you need- hot water with good pressure, comfortable bed with mosquito net, great location with hotel restaurant on the opposite street. There were super cute dogs and a cat in the courtyard. They even had coffee and tea available. Owners are very nice people.

Negative: The only thing what annoyed us in second night was the small dog barking for some time at 2AM what took our sleep.

Positive: Have your own apartment, on the top floor: third - with beautiful surround views from multipy verandas. Theres' about three great restaurants within a 5 minute walk: can get internet at the "Centrist Hotel" directly opposite to Chez Minerva. The owner speaks good English, & will help you with all your needs!

Negative: I got a bit confused finding the property initially; however, if you look directly opposite the Centrist sign you will see a dirt path leadind to a triple story house - that's where you'll be staying! Don't mind their old dog - it's just a barking alarm system for them that someone is around!

Positive: Big apartment with nice view, comfy bed and very good hot shower (!) just a few steps from the village (but calm location) and 10 min drive from the NP. Everything was super super clean and the owners very friendly and helpfull with good english. Equiped kitchen and big table was plus. You will not make a fault to stay here👍

Positive: We had a lovely stay at Chez Minerva. They apartment was spacious and clean at a quiet place in the center of ranomafana village. The owners were super friendly and very helpful. Jeannot helped with arranging a guide in Ranomafana NP and was very helpful for the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend!

Negative: For us it was not a problem, but keep in mind that there is no WiFi here. Several restaurants in the surrounding do have WiFi.
